Synthetic duvet
Synthetic duvets are manufactured from three different fibres: ordinary fibres, slick fibres and cluster fibres. Be aware, that the price will increase with the quality.
Ordinary fibres
Duvets manufactured with ordinary fibres are cheap, you may buy them for less than 50 euros, however inconvenient are numerous. Not only are they allergenic (dust, bacteria…) but their isolation abilities are also limited and some of them can contain static particularly with cloth rubbing during the night.
Slick fibres
Slick fibres have the same characteristic than the ordinary fibres however they provide a better isolation. They indeed contain air.
Cluster fibres
The silicone cover makes the fibre a slip one. The goal is to recreate, as well as possible, the effect of the goose down. So the fibres are not stuck in one place of the duvet but they spread everywhere in the duvet.
